Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time
Housekeeper to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our apartments and offices are clean, safe, and move-in ready for residents. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, and takes pride in maintaining high cleaning standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform final cleanings of vacant units for re-occupancy
- Clean newly constructed units before initial occupancy
- Maintain cleanliness of company offices
- Clean and maintain interior common areas of apartment buildings
- Ensure all areas meet cleanliness and sanitation standards
What We Provide:
- All cleaning supplies and equipment
- A collaborative, supportive work environment
- Training and onboarding to ensure your success
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- 40 hours per week (full-time)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting pay: $17.50 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.50 per mile (from our Union office to job sites)

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Reliable personal vehicle (used to travel to job sites)

Position 2 Title: Full-Time Apartment Painter

Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Apartment Painter to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our apartments are move-in ready for residents. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, skilled and takes pride in maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including patching holes, sanding, and priming of vacant units for re-occupancy
- Apply paint using brushes and rollers to walls, ceiling, and other surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy, consistency, and overall quality.
- Report painting supply needs

- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- 40 hours per week (full-time)

Position 3 Title: General Laborer
Job Description:
Schmelz Contracting Services is a trusted name in residential property services and part of the ELS family of companies. We manage a growing portfolio of apartment communities and are looking to expand our construction team with a reliable and detail-oriented professional.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time General Laborer to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our development and construction projects are completed timely and with the highest quality. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, skilled and takes pride in maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials and equipment from vehicles
- Perform manual labor tasks such as liffting, csarrying, shoveling, trench work and installing water and utility pipes
- Clean and maintain equipment and tools
- Assist equipment operator in all facets of the job
- Install utility services from mains to buildings
- Install erosion fencing
- Install gutter drain systems

- A collaborative, supportive work environment
- Company vehicle to and from job sites
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- 40 hours per week (full-time)
