Position 1 Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician
Company: Schmelz Contracting Services, a member of the ELS family of companies with over 2,300 rental homes under management.
Location: Franklin County
Position Overview:
We are adding to our existing team of Maintenance Technicians. Our portfolio of apartment communities are predominately located in Franklin County in Union, Washington, St. Clair and Sullivan.
Key Responsibilities: Routine, make ready, and emergency maintenance service.
What We Provide: Work van.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Compensation & Benefits: Range of pay is $22 to $25 per hour plus full-time benefits.
Requirements: A minimum of 3 years residential maintenance is required. A type II or Universal EPA license is preferred with HVAC experience. Valid driver'se license with a clean driving record and show proof of auto insurance on your vehicle. Pass a criminal background check.

Position 2 Title: Trim Carpenter
About Us: Schmelz Contracting Services, a member of the ELS family of companies with over 2,300 rental homes under management.
Locaiton: Franklin County predominately, but may have jobs in West St. Louis County and Warren County.
Position Overview:
We are adding to our team of trim carpenters. Projects are located in Union, Washington, Sullivan, Warrenton, and Ellisville.
Key Responsibilities: Finish carpentry. Install cabinets and countertops, baseboard, doors and trim, etc.
What We Provide: Tools.
Schedule: Work hours vary by season. Normal 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Compensation & Benefits: Pay range is $22 to $24 per hour plus full-time benefits.
Requirements: A minimum of 3 years experience in trim carpentry is preferred. Must pass a criminal background check.
